Google 已經加強 Google Play 的審查力度，所有向 Google Play 提交 Android TV App 都需經過 Google 核准。
根據 Android 開發人員檔案頁面的相關訊息，Android TV App 在 Google Play 上架前需要經過 Google 預先篩選和批准。“在 App 出現在 Android TV 設備的 Google Play 前，我們的團隊會根據DPAD (應用程序) 和 Gamepad (僅針對遊戲) 等規範對 App 的可用性進行審查。” 其實這個要求早在 Apple Store 已是基本規範。
同時這個安排沒有任何跡象顯示會應用到 Android 和 Android Wear 平台 Apps 上。
不過這個安排會影響到個少個常用的 TV Apps 呢？
