Tim Cook在新聞稿中說到，iPhone 5的需求量巨大得令人想像不到，正在努力趕出貨希望每一位想購買的顧客都能盡快可以拿到手。當售出第一批現貨後，已經安排補上貨物，讓顧客可以繼續訂購，並希望大家可以耐心點等待。
