在稍早更新中，Google 將使版號 1.4.6108 的 iOS 版 Google Assistant加入支援蘋果 Siri 捷徑 (shortcuts)，讓使用者能快速透過 Siri 喚醒 iOS 版Google Assistant 數位助理服務。
由於 iOS 平台限制第三方 app 的緣故，因此 iOS 版 Google Assistant 僅能透過手動點按 app 執行喚醒，而無法像Siri可直接透過聲控指令喚醒。
不過，在稍早釋出的版號 1.4.6108 更新內容，則可讓 iOS 版 Google Assistant 加入支援蘋果 Siri 捷徑，並且能以 Sir 喚醒 iOS 版 Google Assistant 數位助理服務。
雖然看起來有點尷尬，但 Google 至少完全遵循蘋果相關規範，以 app 形式提交 iOS 版 Google Assistant 於 App Store 上架，同時也遵循蘋果 Siri捷徑設計模式，因此蘋果應該很難要求 Google 做調整。
而有了 Google 的案例，預期諸如亞馬遜針對 iOS 平台打造的 Alexa 數位助理服務，或是微軟在 iOS 平台推出的 Cortana 也能比照相同模式，讓使用者能直接以Siri捷徑形式喚醒。
但目前此項功能似乎僅先針對美國地區的 Google Assistant 開放使用，在台灣地區的 iOS 版 Google Assistant 雖然已經提供相同版號內容更新，卻未記載支援 Siri 捷徑的敘述內容，反而在美國地區提供版本特別說明支援 Siri 捷徑。
