Samsung 自 Galaxy Note 7 事件後，不論財務或聲譽上都有著負面的影響，所以現在她們似乎要在明年初推出的另一部旗艦級手機 Galaxy S8 上挽回市場。
而 Samsung 似乎在 Galaxy S8 上寄予厚望，因為傳聞中，甚至她們員工也透露不少賣點。例如規格方面傳聞十分強悍，例如用上 4K 觸控屏幕、屏佔比率超過 90%、8GB RAM、LG 電池；安兔兔跑分表現超過 20 分等。
但是現在有進一步消息指 Galaxy S8 或將加入全新的語音助理 Bixby，更指效能比 iPhone 的 Siri 更強。 日前在南韓出現一份註冊商標文件，申請人是 Samsung，而商標則是 Bixby。
對於 Bixby 的描述包括 “Computer software for personal information management”、”computer application software for smartphones, mobile telephones, portable computers and tablet computers, Namely, software used to operate voice recognition system” 及 “computer software for enabling hands-free use of a mobile phone through voice recognition”。
而開發 Bixby 的是 Viv Labs – 而這家公司代表作是開發 iPhone 上使用的 Siri 語音助理。所以外界對於 Bixby 寄予厚望，不過到時是否真的用在 Galaxy S8 還是個問號。。。
相信 Samsung 自家開發的語音助理 S Voice 可以正式壽終正寢了。。。
