隨著漸漸靠近 MWC，下一代 Android 機皇 Galaxy S III 的消息開始變得越來越多，較早前有消息指 Galaxy S III 將會在今個月舉行的 MWC 發佈，但近這個星期，大多消息都指向負面，指 Samsung 不會在 MWC 發佈 Galaxy S III，反而會在三月才發佈。
大家終於不要繼續胡亂猜測了，Samsung 剛剛發出聲明，表示他們會在 MWC 發佈一些令人振奮的手機，但那令人震驚的手機將不會是採用 Exynos 4412 四核心處理器的 Galaxy S III。Samsung 指他們不會在 MWC 發佈 Galaxy S II 的繼承人，Galaxy S III 雖然不會在 MWC 發佈，但 Samsung 宣佈將會在 2012 年的上半年發佈 Galaxy S III。官方新聞稿如下：
“Samsung is looking forward to introducing and demonstrating exciting new mobile products at Mobile World Congress 2012.
The successor to the Galaxy S II smartphone will be unveiled at a separate Samsung-hosted event in the first half of the year, closer to commercial availability of the product.
Samsung stays committed to providing the best possible mobile experiences for customers around the world.”
其實今天較早時間已經有來自荷蘭的消息指 Galaxy S III 將會在 3 月 13 日正式發佈，而 Note S 等手機亦會在今年内出現，大家請用耐性去等待 Samsung 繼續發表一些令人震驚的手機。
